Fenerbahçe Heads into the Derby with High Spirits After Victory

In the 5th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig, Fenerbahçe secured a 2-0 victory against Kasımpaşa away from home.

The match, played at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Stadium, saw Fenerbahçe’s goals come from Saint-Maximin in the 22nd minute and Tadic, who scored from the penalty spot in the 39th minute.

With this win, Fenerbahçe increased their points tally to 13, maintaining their position at the top of the table. Meanwhile, Kasımpaşa remained with 5 points.

Next week, the Trendyol Süper Lig will feature a highly anticipated derby as Fenerbahçe hosts Galatasaray. Kasımpaşa will face Antalyaspor at home.

Amrabat Makes His Debut

Fenerbahçe’s summer signing, Sofyan Amrabat, made his first appearance for the club. After watching the Alanyaspor match from the stands, the Moroccan midfielder was included in the match squad for the first time. Amrabat came on as a substitute for Tadic in the 81st minute, marking his debut in the yellow and navy blue jersey.

Becao and En Nesyri Return to Starting XI After Two Matches

Becao and En Nesyri returned to the starting lineup after a two-game absence. The duo last started in the 2-2 draw against Göztepe in the second week of the Süper Lig but were used as substitutes in the matches against Rizespor and Alanyaspor.

Tribute to Little Narin

Before the match, Kasımpaşa fans paid tribute to 8-year-old Narin, who was tragically murdered in Diyarbakır. The supporters chanted “Narin didn’t die, she lives in our hearts” for an extended period.

Kasımpaşa President Fatih Saraç presented flowers to Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç as a gesture of respect before the match. The two club presidents then watched the game together from the VIP section.
