Caitlin Foord scored four goals as Arsenal cruised to a 6-0 victory over Rangers, securing their progression in the Women’s Champions League qualifying round and starting their 2024-25 campaign on a high note.
Although the match ended in a dominant display, Rangers initially made Arsenal work hard for their first and second goals. However, once Arsenal broke through, they capitalized on their momentum. Alessia Russo added a third, followed by Foord completing her hat-trick. Kim Little converted a penalty, and Foord sealed the victory with her fourth goal.
Mariona Caldentey also impressed in her competitive debut for Arsenal, contributing to the team’s commanding win.
