Galatasaray finalizes Victor Osimhen transfer! Next up: midfield and defense signings: Rabiot, McKennie, Alexsandro, Hummels, and Ahmetcan…

Galatasaray has secured a loan deal for Napoli’s globally renowned striker Victor Osimhen until the end of the season. Galatasaray officials who traveled to Italy for the Osimhen transfer have also started negotiations for three midfielders. They have agreed on terms with Rabiot and are waiting for the player’s final decision tomorrow. Negotiations with Juventus for McKennie and Kostic are ongoing. For defense, Galatasaray is pursuing Alexsandro from Lille, Hummels from Borussia Dortmund, and Ahmetcan from Ajax.

Galatasaray has made a significant move in the transfer market by securing world-famous striker Victor Osimhen. The Nigerian player, who was sidelined at Napoli, will wear the yellow-red jersey on loan until the end of the season. Osimhen was expected to transfer to Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ahli before the season, but the deal fell through when Napoli asked for an additional 5 million euros on top of the 80 million euro offer. Osimhen, who had signed a four-year contract worth 40 million euros per year with Al-Ahli, reacted against Napoli’s management.

SIGNED IN ISTANBUL TODAY
After Osimhen’s strong reaction to Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis, he was sidelined, and his number 9 shirt was given to new signing Romelu Lukaku. Taking advantage of this situation, Galatasaray offered Napoli, “We will cover the 11 million euro annual salary, just loan him to us.” When President De Laurentiis responded positively, Galatasaray executive İbrahim Hatipoğlu went to Italy yesterday to finalize the transfer and brought the player to Istanbul early this morning. Osimhen will sign the contract today.

Osimhen, who is loaned to Galatasaray until June 2025, does not have a purchase option in his contract.

GALATASARAY ANNOUNCES TO KAP
