Galatasaray’s Doctor Yener Ince Provided an Update on Injured Players

Speaking to the press after the match at RAMS Park, İnce stated that he has never given specific recovery timelines for injuries throughout his career. Regarding Mauro Icardi and Hakim Ziyech’s injuries, İnce said, “Ziyech returned from the national team with an injury. I don’t provide timelines; I’ve never done so in my career. I monitor the players on a daily basis. We don’t have a tendency to glorify players, but it is true that they have shown dedication over the years. Ziyech returned with a muscle hemorrhage and a slight tear. We’ve started working on his recovery. The same applies to Icardi.”

Ince noted that Mauro Icardi’s treatment will continue in Turkey after September 16, due to family reasons, and added, “Regarding Fenerbahçe’s players, I haven’t had any discussions about their health. Galatasaray has never asked me about Kostic’s health. I haven’t seen him or met him. Therefore, I have no information about his condition.”

Ince also mentioned that Kaan Ayhan does not have any injuries.
