Troubles for Dele Keep going as fitness problems stop coming back

Another problem has come up for Dele Alli in his efforts to get his career back on track. The former Tottenham star hasn’t played in a league game in 19 months and is now having a “slip back” in his comeback as he tries to get a new deal with Everton.

The 28-year-old midfielder’s deal with Everton ended at the end of the 2023–24 season. He is now a free agent, but the Toffees have continued to help him heal from surgery earlier this year. Alli has been working with Everton to show that he is fit and get a new contract. The club is willing to give him another chance, and Tottenham has agreed to not charge the transfer fees that were agreed upon before. This will help Alli get his career back on track.

Dyche Confirms New Loss

But Dele doesn’t seem to be having good luck. The midfielder’s health has gotten worse, according to Everton manager Sean Dyche, who said

“He’s just making sure he’s right. He lost a little of his strength, so he is now in the stage where he is fully recovering. Since he’s been gone for so long, we just want to make sure everything is okay.”

That being said, Dele Alli is back to training and healing for now as he continues to push to play in the Premier League again. All eyes will be on the player as he fights through this tough phase because both Everton and the player want to get his career back on track.
