Jamal Murray has spoken highly of his new Denver Nuggets teammate, Russell Westbrook, emphasizing the veteran’s positive influence both on and off the court. In a recent interview, Murray shared how much he idolized Westbrook growing up and expressed his excitement about now having the chance to play alongside him.

Murray highlighted the energy Westbrook brings to the team, stating, “Every time he’s in the gym, he kind of lifts not just me but everybody’s spirit and awareness.” Despite not having played much together yet, Murray noted the immediate impact Westbrook has made on the Nuggets’ squad.
