Juventus Eye Loan Move for PSG’s Milan Skriniar to Bolster Defence
In the forthcoming January transfer window, Juventus is interested in Milan Skriniar of Paris Saint-Germain as a defensive reinforcement. After seeing little action in Paris under coach Luis Enrique, the 29-year-old center-back, who only joined PSG from Inter Milan a year and a half ago, may be returning to Italy.
Head coach Thiago Motta is looking for an experienced center-back to replace the void left by Gleison Bremer’s season-ending ACL injury sustained during a Champions League match against Leipzig. Skriniar is a perfect fit to join Juventus’ backline because of his experience playing in Serie A with Inter and Sampdoria.
PSG’s Limited Opportunities May Make Loan Negotiations Easier
Skriniar has only made three appearances for PSG this season, playing 201 minutes overall. Due to his lack of playing time, Skriniar may be able to get regular minutes in familiar surroundings if Juventus pursues a loan agreement. In order to provide defensive stability with the seasoned Serie A veteran, the Bianconeri intend to complete the deal during the winter transfer window.
