Luis Suárez Aims to Extend MLS Career Beyond 2024

Inter Miami star Luis Suárez has expressed his desire to continue playing in Major League Soccer (MLS) and extend his contract with the club beyond 2024. The Uruguayan striker, who has been in fine form this season and is in contention for the 2024 MLS Golden Boot, wants to remain at South Beach and continue his partnership with Lionel Messi.

Suárez’s current contract is set to expire at the end of the 2024 season, but the striker revealed during a press conference on Friday that he is already discussing an extension with the club.

“I know my lawyer is speaking with the club. I wanted to finish the best way possible, showing the club I have enthusiasm. I feel well physically and I have the desire to continue being a part of the history of this club.”

Partnership with Messi

Suárez also hinted at his desire to continue playing alongside his former Barcelona teammate and close friend Lionel Messi, with whom he has built a strong bond on and off the field. The duo has reignited their connection at Inter Miami, and Suárez is keen on extending that partnership into another season.

A Bright Future for Inter Miami

As Suárez eyes an extended stay, Inter Miami is poised to continue its rise in MLS with the star power of Suárez and Messi leading the charge. The club is aiming to build on the momentum of their signings and solidify their place as a top contender in the league.
