Okan Buruk’s Derby 11

Galatasaray is continuing preparations for their match against Fenerbahxe in the 6th week of the league. The starting XI for the derby has started to take shape.

Galatasaray is focusing on the Fenerbahce derby, with coach Okan Buruk largely determining the lineup for the challenging match.

In goal for Galatasaray will be Fernando Muslera.

The center-back pairing will remain as Davinson Sanchez and Abdülkerim Bardakcı. Kaan Ayhan will play as the right back, and Ismail Jakobs will be on the left.

In central midfield, Lucas Torreira and Gabriel Sara are expected to feature. On the wings, Barış Alper Yılmaz and Roland Sallai are anticipated to start.

Yunus Akgün, who started the last two matches, will be among the alternatives.

Forwards will see Dries Mertens in the attacking midfield role. Coach Okan Buruk has announced that Mauro Icardi will not be available due to treatment. Consequently, Victor Osimhen will be the primary attacking option for the yellow-reds.
