Patrick Beverley Hints at Future Moves: “Real Madrid and NBA Teams Want Me”

Veteran guard Patrick Beverley, who made a surprise move to Hapoel Tel Aviv in the BKT EuroCup at the start of the season, recently discussed his future in a revealing segment on his podcast, Pat Bev Pod. Beverley indicated that both NBA and EuroLeague teams, including Real Madrid, have shown interest in him as he contemplates his next steps.

Reflecting on his experience in Tel Aviv, Beverley noted the impact of his teammate Johnathan Motley’s unexpected departure, which has led him to feel “abandoned.” Motley, according to Beverley, left the team stating he felt “unsafe” and is now looking to join a Serbian EuroLeague team.

The 35-year-old guard revealed that he’s already received calls from multiple NBA teams and EuroLeague clubs, including Real Madrid. Beverley’s performances in the EuroCup—where he’s averaging 12.0 points, 5.4 assists, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.0 steals across seven games—have evidently attracted significant interest.

As he weighs his options, Beverley hinted that a decision could be on the horizon, saying, “I think I’ll have to make some choices soon.”
