Pogba Backs Former Club Amid Comparisons with Spurs
Paul Pogba defended Manchester United and aimed a jab at Tottenham fans during a conversation with supporters. Tottenham, currently above United in the Premier League and fresh off a 3-0 win over the Red Devils at Old Trafford, led some fans to claim Spurs are now superior. However, Pogba was quick to back his former teammates, pointing out United’s recent trophy wins while Tottenham’s cabinet remains empty.

Pogba remarked:
“When you win a trophy… in the last two years I think Man United won a trophy… a cup at least. When you do that, call back, and I’ll say Tottenham is better.”
Pogba’s comments highlight United’s recent Carabao Cup and FA Cup victories, in contrast to Tottenham’s ongoing trophy drought since their 2008 League Cup win.
