Pero Antic, the President of the North Macedonia Basketball Federation and a former teammate of Bogdan Bogdanovic, recently made a playful remark about his old friend. Antic traveled to Laktasi, Bosnia and Herzegovina, to attend an Adriatic League match between Igokea and Buducnost.
After the game, Antic gave an exclusive interview to Basketball Sphere, where he teased Bogdanovic, who is a well-known Partizan fan, saying that he would bring him to Crvena Zvezda one day:
“I talked to Bogdan just two days ago; we stay in regular contact. He was my roommate for a long time, so we joke around a lot. One day, I will bring him to Crvena Zvezda. Recently, he said that he wanted to finish his career with Partizan, but I believe he’ll retire at Crvena Zvezda (laughs).”
Antic also responded to a question about his former coach Zeljko Obradovic:
“Zeljko is a legend, he always has a vision. You know which team I support (Crvena Zvezda), but I still wish Zeljko and his team the best. He probably has a good plan for the new season as well. A strong Partizan benefits Crvena Zvezda too.”
Antic’s playful remarks reflect the deep bond he shares with Bogdanovic, as well as his respect for his legendary coach, Obradovic.
