Legendary Brazilian Footballer Invests in US Soccer
It was reported on Wednesday that two-time FIFA World Player of the Year and legendary Brazilian football player Ronaldinho has joined the ownership group of USL teams Greenville Triumph SC and Greenville Liberty.
In a ceremony at the New York Stock Exchange, the former Barcelona and AC Milan player became an official member of the ownership group and rang the closing bell as part of the festivities for International Day.

Ronaldinho praised Greenville’s dedication to developing new players in his statement. He emphasized the competitive spirit of Liberty’s pre-professional squad and Triumph’s professional team, as well as the clubs’ emphasis on young development through their boys’ and girls’ academy programs.
Ronaldinho remarked:
