Saras Jasikevicius: “Anadolu Efes Started Very Well, It Will Be a Tough Away Game”

Ahead of the match against Anadolu Efes, both Fenerbahçe Beko head coach Saras Jasikevicius and player Bonzie Colson shared their thoughts.

In the second week of the EuroLeague season, Turkish teams Fenerbahçe Beko and Anadolu Efes are set to face off.

Coach Jasikevicius had the following to say:

“It will be a very tough away game. Anadolu Efes has started the season very well, and every away game in this league is challenging. We need to understand what we didn’t do well against them in the Presidential Cup and try to fix those issues. Also, we must be aware that there will be difficult moments during the game, and in those moments, we need to stay together as a team.”

Bonzie Colson added:

“It’s going to be a great game with an amazing atmosphere. We are definitely excited because we know this will be a derby between two Istanbul teams. We need to maintain the rhythm that helped us win against Olympiacos and continue working hard to play even better.”
