Suspended Referee David Coote Admits Authenticity of Video Criticizing Klopp

Premier League referee David Coote has confirmed the authenticity of a recently surfaced video where he makes negative remarks about Liverpool and former manager Jurgen Klopp.

The clip, believed to be several years old, appeared on social media on Monday and shows Coote in a foul-mouthed tirade about Liverpool and Klopp, who left the club this summer. The Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) has since launched an investigation. According to The Sun, Coote admitted the video is genuine, although he does not remember the conversation.

As a result, Coote has been suspended by PGMOL while the investigation is ongoing.
