Toprak Razgatlıoğlu Races For Second World Championship In Spain
Turkish motorcycle racer Toprak Razgatlioglu is just one race away from declaring the World Superbike championship.
Competing in the prestigious World Superbike Championship (WSBK) 2024 as a Red Bull athlete, Toprak will race for the championship tomorrow in Spain. If he finishes in the top 3 during the first day’s race at the Jerez Circuit, he will secure the championship regardless of the results of his competitors. The national racer, who has dominated nearly all races this year with the BMW Rokit team, is on track to maintain his 46-point lead over his nearest rival.
The 28-year-old athlete continues to be a strong contender for the championship, despite missing two races due to an injury sustained during training in France. Razgatlioglu has amassed 473 points, keeping him at the top of the overall standings, while his closest competitor, Italian racer Nicolo Bulega, follows with 427 points.
In the World Supersport Championship, Red Bull athletes Bahattin Sofuoglu and Can Oncu will also be competing for podium positions.
