Toprak Razgatlıoğlu to Race in France to Maintain His Advantage

National motorcycle racer Toprak Razgatlıoğlu, who leads the 2024 World Superbike Championship with 15 wins, will compete in the 8th round of the championship this weekend in France.

Toprak Razgatlıoğlu, the national motorcycle racer, will race in the 8th round of the World Superbike Championship this weekend in France. The 8th round races of the World Superbike Championship and the World Supersport Championship will be held on September 7-8 at the 4.41-kilometer-long Magny-Cours circuit in France. Red Bull athlete and ROKiT BMW Motorrad team pilot Toprak will take to the track to maintain his lead in the championship this weekend.

In the championship, where free practice sessions will be held tomorrow, Toprak will race his first race on Saturday, September 7, at 2:00 PM Turkish time. The national pilot will take the stage again on Sunday, September 8, for the superpole at 12:00 PM and the second race at 3:00 PM.

In the 7th round of the season in Portugal, Toprak finished the races in first place, setting a record with 13 consecutive wins.

Toprak continues to lead the riders’ standings with 365 points, while his closest rival, Nicolo Bulega, trails by 92 points. The races will be broadcast live on Red Bull TV.

National motorcycle racers Bahattin Sofuoğlu and Can Öncü will also compete in the 8th round of the World Supersport Championship at the Magny-Cours Circuit. Bahattin Sofuoğlu will compete with the MV Agusta Reparto Corse team, while Can Öncü will race with the Kawasaki Puccetti team.
