Tyrell Malacia Closing in on Manchester United Return After Lengthy Injury Layoff

Manchester United’s left back After a protracted fight with injuries, Tyrell Malacia is allegedly getting close to returning to action, which will help Erik ten Hag’s team.

Malacia, who moved from Feyenoord to Manchester United two years ago, hasn’t played for the club since May 2023 because of a knee ailment that needed a difficult operation. The Netherlands international’s recuperation took longer than anticipated, and he missed the whole previous campaign.

Over the summer, Malacia returned to training, and Erik ten Hag gave a progress report on his recuperation last month, saying that the left-back was “progressing really well.” Voetbal International reports that Malacia is currently fully trained and getting closer to being fit for a match again.

Anticipated Time of Return

Malacia is expected to return to action by the end of October, providing much-needed defensive depth to United’s roster as they manage a demanding schedule.
