We Dropped Three Places in the World Rankings
The Turkish Women’s National Basketball Team has fallen to 17th place in the FIBA world rankings.
According to an announcement on FIBA’s official website, the world rankings were updated following the completion of the Paris 2024 Olympics and the 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup pre-qualifiers.
The USA, which secured its 8th consecutive and 10th overall Olympic gold medal at Paris 2024, continues to lead the rankings with 883.3 points.
Australia, which moved up one place, is now in 2nd with 715.4 points, while France, the Paris 2024 finalist, climbed four places to 3rd with 706.4 points.
Turkey dropped three places, falling to 17th with 345.6 points.
