Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United Lead Europe’s Football Attendance in 2023-24
Last season, 16 clubs in Europe surpassed the 1 million spectator mark in total attendance, with Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund leading the way in average attendance per match.
According to UEFA’s attendance report, as cited by the BBC, Borussia Dortmund had the highest average attendance in league matches, attracting an impressive 81,305 spectators per game. Despite a challenging season, Manchester United boasted the highest total home attendance across Europe, with 1,397,148 spectators attending their Premier League matches at Old Trafford.
