F1 denies Domenicali’s MotoGP move
Jack Plooij, commentator for Dutch broadcaster Ziggo Sport, had brought up the rumours that Stefano Domenicali would be the new CEO of MotoGP.
However, according to Chris Medland, Formula 1 has categorically denied the rumours that CEO Stefano Domenicali would be leaving his position and taking a senior position at MotoGP.
It is also stated that the purchase of MotoGP by Liberty Media at the beginning of the year caused such speculations.
Domenicali has achieved significant success in making the sport more popular in his role as F1 CEO, which he took over from Chase Carey in 2021.
Domenicali, who has made agreements with new circuits such as Las Vegas, Qatar and Madrid, also served as team boss at Ferrari between 2008 and 2014.
