The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) has revealed its list of the world’s top football teams, covering the period from 1 September 2023 to 31 August 2024. In the top 25, only one Turkish club made the cut, showcasing the global dominance of football powerhouses.

Real Madrid topped the list, followed closely by Manchester City and Bayer Leverkusen. Fenerbahçe proudly secured 25th place as the sole representative from Turkey. Other Turkish giants, Galatasaray and Beşiktaş, ranked 57th and 105th respectively, showing a significant gap from the top contenders.
