Fenerbahçe Targets Mario Lemina!

It has been reported that Fenerbahçe is considering bringing Mario Lemina, who previously played for Galatasaray, back to Turkey. The Yellow Canaries are allegedly aiming to sign the talented midfielder from Premier League club Wolverhampton, where he has one year left on his contract.

Lemina is reportedly open to returning to Turkey if offered a long-term contract. The 31-year-old midfielder is said to view this as the final major transfer of his career.

Fenerbahçe’s management is expected to contact Wolverhampton soon and hopes to finalize the transfer by September 13th. The club is planning to complete the deal for a transfer fee around €3-4 million.

Additionally, it was noted that José Mourinho also has a positive opinion of the Gabonese midfielder. Lemina has been a regular starter for Wolverhampton this season, making 4 appearances and recording 1 assist.

The 1.84m tall player’s current market value is estimated at €10 million. Throughout his career, Lemina has played for clubs like Lorient, Marseille, Fulham, Southampton, Juventus, and Nice.

In the 2019-2020 season, Lemina spent one season on loan at Galatasaray. On the international stage, Lemina has made 32 appearances for the Gabon national team, scoring 3 goals.
