Fenerbahçe Volleyball Department Signs Naming and Health Sponsorship Deal with Medicana

Fenerbahçe Sports Club’s Volleyball Department has signed a naming and health sponsorship agreement with Medicana. The signing ceremony was held at the 1907 Tribune of Ülker Stadium Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saracoğlu Sports Complex.

The event was attended by Fenerbahçe General Secretary Burak Çağlan Kızılhan, Board Member Responsible for Volleyball Hulusi Belgü, Medicana Health Group Board Member and CEO Reha Özkaya, Fenerbahçe Volleyball Department Sporting Director Dariusz Stanicki, Fenerbahçe Women’s Volleyball Team Manager Pelin Çelik, and team captains Eda Erdem and Fabian Drzyzga.

Kızılhan: “An Important Agreement for Both Fenerbahçe and Turkish Sports”

Fenerbahçe General Secretary Burak Çağlan Kızılhan highlighted the importance of the partnership in his opening speech. He began by paying tribute to the club’s former coach Christoph Daum, who recently passed away, stating, “We lost a valuable coach who achieved great success for Fenerbahçe, who saw our country as his homeland and had great respect and loyalty to our nation’s and club’s values. May he rest in peace. Today is a very important day and a significant signing ceremony. This is one of the largest partnerships and sponsorship agreements ever made, not only for Fenerbahçe but also for Turkish sports. Welcome to this announcement of a collaboration that will further enhance our contribution to Turkish sports, especially volleyball.”

Fenerbahçe Board Member Responsible for Volleyball Hulusi Belgü added, “Medicana Health Group’s support as the naming sponsor of our Men’s and Women’s Volleyball Teams demonstrates Fenerbahçe’s commitment to amateur sports and our goal to be at the highest level in every discipline. I sincerely thank Mr. Hüseyin Bozkurt, Chairman of the Board of Medicana Group and a Fenerbahçe Board Member, for his belief and support in our club. We really liked our new jerseys. Eda Erdem, Captain of the Fenerbahçe Women’s Volleyball Team, wished the agreement success for both parties and stated, “By joining forces with you, I sincerely believe we will have a successful season. I hope we reach great victories together. Welcome to our family.”

Fenerbahçe Men’s Volleyball Team Captain Fabian Drzyzga added, “As the captain of Fenerbahçe, wearing the jersey for the first time this season, I am here today. What I have seen in such a short time has been enough to make me understand how great a community I am part of. May the sponsorship agreement bring good fortune. I wish you lots of luck in the new season.”
