After Ferdi Kadıoğlu’s transfer to Brighton, Fenerbahçe has accelerated its efforts to sign a left-back.
According to a report from Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Fenerbahçe approached Gent for Archie Brown.
The Turkish club offered €8 million plus €2 million in bonuses for the 22-year-old left-back. However, Gent rejected the offer.
The Belgian side is demanding €12 million for Brown.
The English left-back, whose current market value is listed at €5 million, is under contract with Gent until 2027.
