Fenerbahçe’s Ferdi Kadıoğlu has officially transferred to Brighton, following ongoing negotiations in England.
In a statement from the club, it was announced: “Negotiations have begun for the transfer of our First Team player, Ferdi Erenay Kadıoğlu, to England’s Brighton and Hove Albion FC.”
The 24-year-old player joined Fenerbahçe from Dutch side NEC for a transfer fee of €1.4 million in the 2018-2019 season. Last season, Ferdi became one of the key players for the team, making 51 appearances in the yellow-and-blue jersey. This season, he played in 5 matches and scored 1 goal.
Ferdi also caught attention with his performances for the Turkish National Team at Euro 2024, where he created 10 goal-scoring opportunities, ranking third behind Christian Eriksen and Kevin De Bruyne.
Ferdi gerçekten çok iyi bir oyuncu ve İngiltere ye gitmesi kendisi açısından doğru verilmiş bir karar.
I watched him in a match and he is a player who could reach a different level in better hands.
