Ferdi signed a 4-year contract with his new club, making history in the Süper Lig transfer records by matching the record of Sacha Boey, who moved from Galatasaray to Bayern Munich for the same fee.
The long-anticipated transfer has been finalized, and Fenerbahçe has announced the deal to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP).
Fenerbahçe’s Statement to KAP: €30 Million
Fenerbahçe confirmed Ferdi’s transfer to Brighton with the following statement: “Our professional footballer, Ferdi Erenay Kadıoğlu, has reached an agreement with the English club The Brighton and Hove Albion FC for the termination of his contract with us for a fee of €30,000,000. Any solidarity contribution payments required under FIFA regulations will be paid by The Brighton and Hove Albion FC.”
€5 Million Bonus and 10% of Future Sales
“In addition to the transfer fee, a maximum of €5,000,000 in performance-based bonuses will be paid to our club by The Brighton and Hove Albion FC. Additionally, should the player be transferred to another club in the future, 10% of the transfer fee received by The Brighton and Hove Albion FC will be paid to our club as a sell-on clause.”
4-Year Contract
The national team player has signed a 4-year contract with Brighton. It has been reported that Ferdi will earn €3.5 million annually from the English club.
