FERRARI TO DIVIDE ITS UPDATE PACKAGE PLANNED FOR AUSTIN INTO TWO PHASES!

Ferrari has decided to implement the update package it plans to bring to the United States Grand Prix in two phases.

As the final quarter of the Formula 1 season approaches, Ferrari is heading to the U.S. Grand Prix with new updates. Although the team collected fewer points than expected at the Singapore and Baku Grands Prix, it is strengthened by the recent additions of new technical director Loic Serra and Jerome D’Ambrosio. However, the complete set of major updates planned for the SF-24 will not be brought to COTA this weekend.

The team has chosen to implement these updates in two phases. The reasoning behind this decision is believed to be delays in the approval process for certain parts or a desire not to test too many new components during a sprint-format weekend.

What is certain is that a new front wing will debut in Austin, while some updates related to the floor will be introduced in Mexico.

Ferrari’s approach is viewed as a more cautious strategy for the Texas GP, especially with competitors Red Bull, Mercedes, and McLaren expected to arrive with significant updates. It is known that Mercedes will also bring some important updates this weekend, but the team’s main focus is reportedly on preparing for the 2026 regulations.

Meanwhile, McLaren continues to apply pressure on its rivals with an impressive rise in the second half of the season. The versatile design of the MCL38 has allowed it to deliver strong performances at every circuit this season.

Ferrari aims to maintain a strong momentum as the season progresses, chasing Red Bull and looking to finish second in the Constructors’ Championship. However, achieving this goal will not be easy due to McLaren’s strong car advantage.
