Flash Wilfried Zaha Claim from the French: “He Could Return to Galatasaray!”

It has been claimed that Wilfried Zaha’s loan agreement with Ligue 1 club Olympique Lyon could be terminated. Zaha was loaned from Galatasaray to Lyon for €3 million on August 30, 2024, but his time in France has turned into a nightmare.

Since the beginning of the season, the Ivorian player has only appeared in two matches for the French team, prompting striking claims about his future.

HE MAY RETURN TO GALATASARAY

According to reports in the French press, Olympique Lyon’s management is preparing to terminate the contract of the 31-year-old player. If the contract termination occurs, Zaha will return to Galatasaray. The club management is expected to make a decision regarding Zaha within the next month.

HE WAS LEFT OUT OF THE SQUAD

Wilfried Zaha has recently been left out of the squad by the Olympique Lyon management amid rumors of a separation. This decision was made following Lyon’s 4-1 victory over Rangers in a UEFA Europa League match.

The Ivorian player did not participate in the conditioning training after the 4-1 victory, which led to him being excluded by the management.

“IT’S HARD TO EVALUATE HIM AS A PLAYER”

Zaha, who is currently training separately from Lyon, has faced sharp criticism from the team’s head coach, Pierre Sage. The French coach stated, “I have communicated very clearly with those who do not play or play little. I said it’s hard for me to evaluate them as players. I expect more from my players, not only on the field but also in terms of professionalism. When they do not reach the professional level they should be at, I need to evaluate them based on other criteria.”

“DO I LOOK LIKE I CARE?”

In response to this statement, the 31-year-old player took to social media to reply to his coach. He posted, “Do I look like I care?”

HE HAS PLAYED TWO MATCHES WITH LYON

The experienced player, who was loaned to Lyon at the beginning of the season, has appeared in a total of 2 matches with the French team. In these matches, he spent a total of 76 minutes on the field and contributed with 1 assist.
