Former Manchester United star Jesse Lingard made a remarkable return to his old club just to be in the same team as Cristiano Ronaldo.

After an impressive loan spell with West Ham during the 2021-22 season, the former England midfielder returned to Manchester United, where he had the chance to play alongside the five-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo. Lingard left United a few months before Ronaldo, joining Nottingham Forest as a free agent. However, after the 2022-23 season, he found himself without a club, eventually signing with South Korean side Seoul in February. Lingard also trained with West Ham and Al-Ettifaq but wasn’t offered a contract.
