Fenerbahçe Set to Sign Serbian Star Filip Kostic on Loan

Kostic, who can play as both a left-back and left wing-back, is known for his exceptional left foot, making him a potent weapon in set-pieces and open play. The 31-year-old’s versatility allows him to be deployed in various positions, and under Jose Mourinho, he may feature in different roles depending on the tactical setup, particularly in attack-focused matches.
Fenerbahçe’s pursuit of a left-back began after agreeing to sign Cristian Medina from Boca Juniors in January. With several candidates on their list, the club made a surprise move by securing Kostic, who, despite not being a traditional left-back, has built his career as a left wing-back in various tactical setups.
