Former Arsenal and Chelsea player Cesc Fabregas has separated himself from a fake quotation implying he preferred Bukayo Saka over Cole Palmer, calling the current argument pointless.
When a fake quotation claiming severe similarities between Bukayo Saka and Cole Palmer arose, Fabregas found himself in the middle of a social media debate. According to the tweet, Palmer wouldn’t start for elite Premier League teams including Arsenal, Manchester City, or Liverpool and Fabregas thought Saka was far better.
Fabregas Shuts Down Comparisons
In response, Fabregas took to social media to clarify his stance, emphasizing that the comparison was irrelevant and praising both players. He tweeted:
“The danger of social media is people really believe anything they read. No need to compare players, England are lucky to have 2 amazing talents, just enjoy them! #Fake!”
