The Denver Nuggets signed their star player Jamal Murray to a new maximum contract extension. The 27-year-old guard will earn $209 million over four years as part of the deal and will remain with the team for a long time.

Murray had an impressive season with the Denver Nuggets last year, appearing in 71 games. Murray averaged 21.2 points, 6.5 assists and 4.1 rebounds in 59 regular season games, all starts. He continued his form in the playoffs, averaging 20.6 points and 5.6 assists in 12 games.

Murray was also a key figure in the Denver Nuggets’ 2023 NBA championship.
