Ecuadorian international footballer Marco Angulo dies in car accident
Ecuadorian national football player Marco Angulo died 35 days after a car accident.
22-year-old football player Marco Angulo, who also played for the Ecuadorian national team, lost his life in a traffic accident.
The sad news was announced by LDU Quito, where the young player plays. The player, who had a traffic accident on October 7, could not be saved despite all interventions after a 36-day fight for his life.
Another football player in the car at the time of the accident, Roberto Cabezas, also died.
Angulo, who is considered one of the promising names of Ecuadorian football, was one of the important names of Independiente del Valle, which won the championship in the U-20 Copa Libertadores.
Marco Angulo, who played for the Ecuadorian National Team twice, was transferred to the MLS team Cincinnati and then went on loan to his country’s team LDU Quito.
The 22-year-old player played in 20 matches for Cinccinnati and LDU Quito last season.
