Esports tournament organizer ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) has been named the presenting partner for the 2024 ESIC Global Esports Summit, hosted by the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC). This annual event, set to take place from October 3rd to 4th, will bring together industry stakeholders from across the world to engage in discussions, workshops, and panels centered around esports integrity and fair play.
This year’s summit marks the first time the ESIC Global Esports Summit will take place in the United States, coinciding with DreamHack Atlanta. The event provides a platform for stakeholders to network, share insights, and attend workshops focusing on the latest developments, challenges, and opportunities in the esports industry. Topics will range from regulatory practices to the ethics of esports, aiming to promote fair play and integrity within the fast-growing ecosystem.
A Focus on Collaboration and Integrity
The partnership between EFG and ESIC is part of a broader effort to enhance integrity within esports. In May 2024, ESIC established an advisory board with key executives from EFG and fellow tournament organizer BLAST. Following this, in June, ESIC partnered with the International Olympic Committee on an initiative aimed at combating misconduct within the industry.
ESL FACEIT Group: A Major Player in Esports
ESL FACEIT Group is one of the largest tournament organizers in the esports sector. In recent months, EFG secured a multi-year deal with the Esports World Cup and extended its partnership with logistics company DHL. These developments highlight EFG’s growing influence in shaping the future of competitive gaming.
