EuroLeague 2024/25: Top 50 Players (1-10)

Ranking the best 100 or 50 players in the EuroLeague is no easy task, and once again, we’ve concluded it’s quite challenging. Like last year, we based our list on players’ efficiency ratings from the previous season, along with insights from our editors across English, Turkish, Greek, and Spanish editions.

Key criteria included players’ individual skills, their importance and roles for their teams in the 2024/25 season, their teams’ standings, and their accomplishments in the league. Here are the top ten players:

10. Edy Tavares (Real Madrid)
2023/24 Stats: 9.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.5 blocks; 22:53 minutes
Team Performance: EuroLeague finalist
Tavares experienced a significant drop from his previous top position, but remains a vital contributor on defense and rebounding.

9. Shane Larkin (Anadolu Efes)
2023/24 Stats: 16.8 points, 5.1 assists, 2.8 rebounds, 1.1 steals; 31:38 minutes
Team Performance: Eliminated by Virtus Bologna in the playoffs
After missing most of the previous season due to injury, Larkin proved himself as one of the best in the EuroLeague again.

8. Wade Baldwin (Fenerbahce Beko)
2023/24 Stats: 17.4 points, 4.9 assists, 2.5 rebounds, 1.0 steals; 27:39 minutes (Maccabi Tel Aviv)
Team Performance: Eliminated by Panathinaikos in the playoffs
Baldwin was performing at a high level before his injury and was a key player for Maccabi.

7. Nigel Hayes-Davis (Fenerbahce Beko)
2023/24 Stats: 13.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.0 steals; 31:30 minutes
Team Performance: Finished fourth in Final Four
Hayes made history with a 50-point game and was Fenerbahce’s leading scorer and rebounder last season.

6. Facu Campazzo (Real Madrid)
2023/24 Stats: 11.5 points, 6.5 assists, 2.9 rebounds, 1.3 steals; 25:17 minutes
Team Performance: EuroLeague finalist
Campazzo was the brain of Real Madrid, orchestrating the offense with his exceptional passing.

5. Mathias Lessort (Panathinaikos Athens)
2023/24 Stats: 13.9 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.0 steals; 29:20 minutes
Team Performance: EuroLeague champion
Lessort was dominant in the pivot position and a key player for Panathinaikos throughout the season.

4. Sasha Vezenkov (Olympiacos Piraeus)
2023/24 Stats: 5.4 points, 2.3 rebounds; 12:20 minutes (Sacramento Kings)
Team Performance: Finished ninth in the Western Conference
Vezenkov, the 2023 EuroLeague MVP, returns to Olympiacos aiming to continue his scoring efficiency.

3. Mike James (AS Monaco)
2023/24 Stats: 17.9 points, 5.1 assists, 4.1 rebounds, 1.2 steals; 31:40 minutes
Team Performance: Eliminated by Fenerbahce in the playoffs
James carried significant responsibility, and although his playoff performance dipped, he remains a top player.

2. Kostas Sloukas (Panathinaikos Athens)
2023/24 Stats: 12.7 points, 5.6 assists, 3.2 rebounds; 26:14 minutes
Team Performance: EuroLeague champion
Sloukas was instrumental in leading Panathinaikos to their seventh EuroLeague title, earning Final Four MVP honors.

1. Kendrick Nunn (Panathinaikos Athens)
2023/24 Stats: 16.0 points, 3.0 assists, 2.7 rebounds; 27:27 minutes
Team Performance: EuroLeague champion
Nunn quickly adapted to EuroLeague basketball and became one of the league’s most dangerous players, proving crucial in key moments.
