Flavio Briatore revealed that he attempted to bring both Carlos Sainz and Adrian Newey to Alpine.

However, the negotiations did not go as planned. Despite these efforts, Briatore stated that he is working on alternative strategies for the team’s future.

,Briatore said: “I tried to add Carlos Sainz and Adrian Newey to the team, but the talks didn’t go well.” He emphasized that Alpine already has fast and talented drivers, but the main issue lies with the car, not the drivers. He prefers to develop talent rather than buy it, referencing his past success with Michael Schumacher and Fernando Alonso. Looking ahead, he hopes for promising results from Jack Doohan by 2025. Briatore also mentioned that he has won championships with a budget 30% lower than competitors and hasn’t forgotten the “magic formula.”
