Galatasaray Strengthens Lead with Derby Victory
In Week 10 of the Trendyol Süper Lig, Galatasaray emerged victorious in the much-anticipated derby against their arch-rival Besiktas at Rams Park, winning 2-1. This win solidified Galatasaray’s top position in the league, as they remain the only unbeaten team in the Süper Lig this season.
The intense match saw Galatasaray’s goals come from Davinson Sanchez in the 13th minute and Victor Osimhen in the 67th. Beşiktaş narrowed the margin in stoppage time with a goal from Muçi in the 90+4th minute. With this result, Galatasaray reached 28 points, securing their leadership, while Beşiktaş dropped to fourth place with 20 points.
In the upcoming Week 11, Galatasaray will host Samsunspor, while Beşiktaş will face Kasımpaşa at home.
