Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke to unveil MotoGP’s new logo!

MotoGP will unveil its logo at a magnificent ceremony to be held in Barcelona after the championship fight on Sunday, and the famous actress Emilia Clarke will take part in the logo’s unveiling.

MotoGP will enter a new era in 2025 after Liberty Media completed its majority acquisition of Dorna by the end of the year.

But that won’t be the only thing changing about MotoGP; the championship will transition to a different brand identity next year.

At the heart of this change will be the new logo, which will be unveiled in Barcelona on Sunday evening.

The trailer will feature Emilia Clarke, who rose to fame with her role as ‘Khaleesi’ in Game of Thrones.

The logo, designed by the Pentagram agency, will also be showcased online by the championship.

The series logo has only been changed twice since the championship began in 1949. However, the last change was merely an update of the original design.

Until 2001, the logo was based on the abbreviation of the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM). However, with the introduction of the current MotoGP name in 2002, the logo was completely revamped, with the chequered flag being the central element of this new design.

This design was updated again before 2007 and has remained the same since then.

But this time the changes won’t just be limited to the logo. The changes will also include a standard typography similar to the style used in Formula 1, which is owned by Liberty Media.
