Gen.G and Idahoan Foods Extend Partnership

Gaming Meets Potatoes: A Play and Snack Experience for Learners

Esports behemoth Gen.G has said it will be continuing their collaboration with Potato Shreds food producers, Idahoan Foods. With the launch of the “Shreds Gaming Lounge” at some US colleges, which provides a special mix of gaming, refreshments, and freebies for students, the pair is elevating their relationship.

Set up at the University of Kentucky, Boston University, and the University of Florida, The Lounge is meant to be an interactive venue. Anticipate a complete gaming center including contemporary consoles, vintage games, and even high-score contests. Not to mention the snacks—during the activation students will be able to taste Shreds products from Idaho. Complementing tailgate events on every university, including BU hockey tailgate and UF football tailgate, the fun starts this October and November.

A Relationship Driven Mostly by Taste and Fun

Gen. G and Idahoan Foods had partnered up before this as well. Originally starting in August, the cooperation has already seen effective on-campus in-person activations. Offering students a location to enjoy gaming and good food all in one area, the new Shreds Gaming Lounge raises the standards.

“It’s been an incredible experience working with the Shreds team to use gaming to position the brand in an innovative way across the different college campuses we partner with,” Gen.G’s CEO, Arnold Hur, said in expressing his enthusiasm about the continuous partnership. This is our second year, and it shows that gaming is a smart approach to carefully and really present a business when you have a fantastic product.

General Focus of Gen. G on Campus and Community Relations

Investing in initiatives like The Next Gen Fellowship for US students and working with Team Flash to build a League of Legions academy, Gen. G is well-known for its dedication to relationships outside of conventional esports. The company keeps expanding its reach by linking gaming and education; now it also brings delicious snacks to the mix.
