Former Beşiktaş player and assistant coach Guti Hernandez is reportedly making a return to coaching. The Spanish football legend, who previously worked with Senol Gunes at Besiktas, is rumored to be in talks to take over Argentine club San Lorenzo.
According to Fichajes, Guti Hernandez is in negotiations to become the next head coach of San Lorenzo.
After leaving Beşiktaş, the 47-year-old returned to Spain and took charge of Almeria, where he managed 22 games with an average of 1.45 points per game. Guti parted ways with the club in 2020.
Now, the former Real Madrid icon could be on his way to South America to resume his coaching career.
