Harry Kane Shines as Jamal Musiala Leads Bayern Munich to 5-0 Triumph Over Bochum
Harry Kane scored the game’s second goal as Bayern Munich defeated Bochum 5-0, thanks to a masterclass from Jamal Musiala. Bayern responded spectacularly to their recent Champions League loss to Barcelona, retaking the Bundesliga title with a decisive performance.
Michael Olise, a former Crystal Palace player, opened the game with a spectacular free kick in the 16th minute that looped over the wall to give Bayern the lead. Ten minutes later, Musiala looked in Joshua Kimmich’s set-piece pass with a rare header to extend the lead.
Kane and Bayern’s attack is fueled by Musiala’s inventiveness
Musiala maintained his dominance in midfield while displaying the form that once earned him mentions for the Golden Boy and Kopa Trophy. He deftly dribbled past his defender in the 57th minute to create space for Kane, who scored his 15th goal of the season in all competitions with a strong left-footed shot into the top corner.
Leroy Sane, who had come off the bench, curled a long-range drive into the top corner in the 65th minute, and six minutes later, Kingsley Coman’s effort trickled in off the underside of the crossbar to give Bayern a thrilling victory.
