Despite having already submitted their Europa League squad, Fenerbahçe continues to work on strengthening their midfield. It has been reported that the Yellow-Navy Blues are closely monitoring former Galatasaray player Mario Lemina.
Fenerbahçe’s new transfer target has been revealed. The club is looking to bring Mario Lemina, who joined Galatasaray on loan during the 2019-20 season, back to Turkey.
Fenerbahçe is aiming to sign Lemina from Premier League side Wolverhampton, where he has one year remaining on his contract. The club’s management is expected to make contact with Wolverhampton soon and hopes to finalize the transfer by September 13.
According to reports, Mario Lemina is also interested in returning to Turkey if offered a long-term contract. It’s mentioned that José Mourinho is in favor of the move and that the 31-year-old midfielder sees this as potentially the last transfer of his career.
