Manchester United youngster Dan Gore has returned to training at Carrington after a three-month absence due to a serious shoulder injury. According to MEN, Gore, who dislocated his shoulder during an individual training session in the summer, underwent surgery in early June and has been sidelined ever since.
While he is yet to make an appearance this season, social media footage from last week showed Gore completing light training drills, indicating that his return to action is on the horizon. His last professional game came on January 27, 2024.
Gore’s return adds to the positive news from United’s camp, with key players such as Rasmus Hojlund, Mason Mount, Victor Lindelof, and Luke Shaw all nearing a return to action. While they are unlikely to feature in United’s upcoming match against Crystal Palace, the players are expected to be back in contention within the next week or two.
As United prepares for their trip to Selhurst Park, seven players will be unavailable, but the return of these stars offers a boost for the squad in the weeks to come.
