Manchester United’s Ambitious 100,000-Seat Stadium Project Unveiled! Here’s the Massive Budget

Premier League giants Manchester United are planning an extraordinary new stadium project that is set to be one of the largest in the world.

The Red Devils have hired Oxford Economics, one of the world’s leading global consultancy firms, to assess the economic impact of their ambitious project to build a new 100,000-seat stadium. The initial evaluation suggests that the project could contribute a staggering £7.3 billion annually to the UK economy. United is also working on a master plan to redevelop the area surrounding Old Trafford.

The project aims to create 92,000 job opportunities and 17,000 new homes. The New Trafford Park will feature a world-class stadium with a 100,000 seating capacity, along with several mixed-use developments to benefit the local community. The club anticipates that the new stadium will attract visitors from both Manchester and around the globe.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe, Manchester United’s new partial owner and the richest man in the UK, has prioritized the redevelopment of the club’s iconic stadium since acquiring a minority stake.

Meanwhile, Erik ten Hag’s team has had a disappointing start to the 2024-25 Premier League season, collecting only seven points from the first five matches. They aim to kick off their Europa League campaign with a win against Twente on Wednesday.
