However, Marko also hinted that Verstappen may not remain in Formula 1 as long as drivers like Fernando Alonso, who is still competing at 40. He noted that Verstappen aims to be as successful as possible in the short term, suggesting that while Verstappen is focused on his current goals, his long-term future in F1 might not include a lengthy career.
