Mikel Arteta Outlines Plan for Cole Palmer as Arsenal Aim to Rebound Against Chelsea
As the Gunners get ready for a crucial Premier League match at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, manager Mikel Arteta has disclosed that the club has come up with a plan to counter Chelsea’s Cole Palmer.
After losing to Newcastle in the Premier League and Inter in the Champions League, the Gunners are trying to snap a two-game losing streak. Arsenal is aware that additional points lost could endanger their campaign, especially with title hopes on the line. They are now in fifth place, seven points behind leaders Liverpool, after their most recent Premier League victory was a 3-1 victory over Southampton in early October.
Arteta’s Strategy and Team Spirit
When asked about handling Palmer, Arteta stated: “That’s a question that all the managers in the league have had and he’s still managed to impact games. We will have a plan for Cole and all their threats, and to exploit their weaknesses.”
Arteta also spoke about the team’s determination to bounce back:
“There is nobody in this room or outside who wants to win more than I do or the players do. That is impossible. I sense a big belief in what we do as a team. They are paying attention, they are hungry, and they want to work. Their desire is unbelievable. They are a joy to work with.”
