Paolini Rises to Fourth, Pegula Now Sixth: Updated WTA Rankings
The Women’s Tennis Association has released an updated world ranking, shaking up the top 10.
Details: Italian player Jasmine Paolini, at 28, has climbed to the fourth position, marking a record among Italian women players. This achievement matches Francesca Schiavone’s record, who also reached fourth in 2011.
American Jessica Pegula, meanwhile, dropped from fourth to sixth place. As for the top three, they remain unchanged: Aryna Sabalenka holds the No. 1 spot, followed by Iga Świątek in second, and Coco Gauff in third.
