While he considers his future among attention from several international teams, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has not discounted the idea of talking about the England national team job.
Contractually expiring this summer, Guardiola recently revealed on a TV show that he still needs to decide on his intentions. Although City is keen to keep the 53-year-old, certain national teams have already shown interest in his availability.
England among the Parties of Interest
The Telegraph claims that the English FA got in touch with Guardiola at the beginning of the season about his possibilities to become England manager. Previously expressing a wish to manage in the World Cup, Guardiola apparently has positive views on England and its present team. Guardiola has not ruled out the likelihood of talking with the FA, even though nothing is confirmed.
Apart from England, two other national teams have contacted Guardiola since demand in his availability is rising. The fight to persuade him to quit Manchester City is getting intense; international prospects can pull him away from the Premier League champions.
