Ruben Amorim Ready to Get Down to Business as New Man Utd Boss Arrives

CEO Omar Berrada and sporting director Dan Ashworth welcomed new Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim to Carrington on Monday.

After being named Erik ten Hag’s replacement earlier this month, Amorim showed up at the club’s training facility prepared to take on his new responsibilities. Amorim flew to Manchester and went straight to Carrington after leading Sporting CP to a 4-2 comeback victory against Braga in his last match with the Portuguese team, just hours earlier. As he gets ready to take over, Berrada, Ashworth, and technical director Jason Wilcox met him there, introduced him to important employees, and gave him a tour of the training center.
